Supply & Demand Chain Executive Recognizes SCC for Helping a Major Chemical Company Prepare their Supply Chain for Post-Recessionary Growth


Supply Chain Consultants was named to the S&DCE 100 for work it did with an international chemical company that is a major supplier to the automotive industry. Using Zemeter Demand Planning, the company was able to reduce its inventory by 30 percent and save more than $30 million. In addition, through better demand planning, the company was able to reduce the number of product changes on machines, resulting in a significant additional cost savings.
